About this Certificate page
The QA Playground certificate is a free completion certificate you earn by finishing every automation challenge on the site. Each challenge needs real work with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress against a live page, and progress is tracked in your browser. It is a record of practice, not an accredited qualification such as ISTQB.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get the QA Playground certificate?
Complete every challenge on the practice hub so each shows a passed result. When all are done, the certificate page unlocks and you can download it. Progress is stored in your browser, so use the same browser.
Is the certificate free?
Yes. There is no fee, no signup and no email required. You enter the name you want printed and download the certificate directly from your browser.
Is this an accredited QA certification?
No. It shows you completed hands-on practice tasks. Accredited options like ISTQB Foundation Level need a proctored exam. Use this certificate as a portfolio item alongside your GitHub tests, not as a formal credential.
Does my progress save if I close the browser?
Progress is saved in your browser's local storage, so it survives closing the tab. It is lost if you clear site data or switch browsers or devices, so finish and download in one place.
Which challenges count toward the certificate?
All practice challenges on the hub count, from Basic Elements and Dialogs to Canvas, Accessibility and Auth Flows. Each needs a passing result in its result box.
